The Arvig employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)* was adopted on January 1, 2002, with the primary purposes of enabling participating employees to share in the growth and success of Arvig Enterprises, Inc., and to provide employees with an opportunity to accumulate wealth for retirement, ensuring long-term stability in our lives.

Arvig was founded in 1950 as Perham Telephone Company in rural Minnesota. From there, we grew geographically and in service offerings, adopting new technologies along the way that meet the needs of our customers and communities. Today, Arvig’s family of companies and services is anchored as a fiber broadband transport and telecommunications company serving residential customers across Minnesota and business customers throughout the upper Midwest.
